About KBKA

Kent Beekeepers Association is dedicated to the advancement of apiculture (bee-keeping) and the promotion, fostering and encouraging of education therein.

KBKA is a member association of the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) and has long been involved with the National Honey Show and the Kent County Show

Most of its work is done through local branches, which aim to educate bee-keepers about bee-keeping and to inform, and hopefully enthuse, the public about the magic and mystery of honey bees.

The KBKA is overseen by a board of Trustees that oversees the work of the association, and which delegates the day-to-day running to a Council, which represents and liaises with the local branches. The Council also works with national and regional organisations, such as the BBKA, local government and various agricultural, educational and environmental bodies.

Kent Beekeepers Association, registered number 238630, registered charity number 222946 is a company limited by guarantee. Registered office: 23 King’s Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 2HB.
