This is a very basic introduction to beekeeping for those with no previous experience. We will cover the life cycle of the honey bee and how this dictates what the beekeeper needs to do through the year. We will also look at the practicalities of beekeeping, what equipment you need, where to get it and how much will it cost. We will also cover the basics of apiary management, and health and safety for you and your bees.

This event is open to non members, booking is required due to space constraints.
